Dave Peters
David M. Peters is a partner in the law firm of Peters and Freedman, L.L.P.. Dave earned his undergraduate degree from Pepperdine University and received a Master degree in Business Administration from the University of California at Riverside. He then attended Hastings School of Law where he received his Juris Doctorate.
Dave has served on the California Department of Real Estate Subdivision Advisory Committee and the Homeowners Association Task Force and has been Co-Chair of the Subdivision Advisory Committee Litigation Task Force. Dave is a member of the Community Associations Institute where he has served as a Director and Committee Chairman.

Simon J. Freedman
Simon J. Freedman is a partner in the law firm of Peters & Freedman, L.L.P.. Simon attended the University of Illinois where he received his undergraduate degree in Economics. From there, Simon pursued his law degree at DePaul University College of Law where he was a member of Law Review and graduated with honors in 1981.
Simon is an experienced trial attorney, specializing in civil and commercial litigation. He is a member of the San Diego Trial Lawyers Association, the San Diego County Bar Association, and the Bar Association of North San Diego County. Simon is also admitted as a member of the Bar in Colorado.

Keenan A. Parker
Keenan A. Parker is a partner in the law firm of Peters & Freedman, L.L.P.. Keenan obtained his law degree from Whittier College School of Law where he maintained positions on the Dean's List and Honor Roll. Prior to law school, Keenan had a varied real estate career, including having been a real property appraiser, loan manager for a federal savings and loan institution, and his own property management business. Prior to joining Peters & Freedman, L.L.P. in 1994, Keenan practiced in general civil litigation, with an emphasis in real property. He now practices real property law, including construction defect and common interest developments.

James R. McCormick
James R. McCormick, Jr., is a partner in the law firm of Peters & Freedman, L.L.P.. James attended the University of California, Los Angeles, where he received his undergraduate degree in Political Science. James then attended law school at the University of San Diego, where he was a teaching assistant for legal research, writing and oral advocacy and recognized as a Dean's Outstanding Scholar. James has been formally trained as a mediator and has performed mediations for the former San Diego Mediation Center (now National Conflict Resolution Center).
James is an experienced attorney, specializing in general representation of common interest developments and formation and representation of corporations and other businesses. He is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association, American Bar Association and California Bar.

Michael G. Kim
Michael G. Kim is a partner in the law firm of Peters & Freedman, L.L.P.. Michael graduated from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois with a bachelors degree in cognitive psychology. Mike was named to Northwestern University's Dean's List two out of four years. Thereafter Mike attended the University of San Diego School of Law where he received his law degree and an American Jurisprudence award in the field of products liability law..
Mike is a seasoned litigator, with seven years experience before joining Peters & Freedman, L.L.P. in 1999. Mike now specializes in civil litigation performing trial work representing common interest developments and is a member of the American Bar Association and the State Bar of California.
