Our Firm recognizes that collection of homeowners assessments is vital to the operation of an association. Without homeowner dues, an association will be unable to fulfill the duties necessary to enhance the community. In an effort to assist associations in performing this important function, Peters & Freedman, L.L.P. has developed an extremely successful and highly effective assessment collection department.
Our department offers associations several options to collect delinquent assessments. Depending on the individual circumstances, we can assist the association in proceeding with a lawsuit, judicial foreclosure and/or non-judicial foreclosure. The firm's experienced staff can assist associations in determining the best course of action. Peters & Freedman, L.L.P. keeps associations up-to-date by providing a comprehensive, easy-to-understand status report each month.
Peters & Freedman, L.L.P. is one of the only law firms in Southern California to offer assessment collection services on a contingency basis. What this means is that, in most cases, all charges, including attorneys fees incurred in recovering delinquent assessments are collected directly from the homeowner(s). |
